Anne E. (Clement) Pelletier, 73, of Swansea passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was wife of the late Paul Pelletier.

Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Paul F. and Annie (Holt) Clement, she was a longtime resident of Tiverton. Prior to retirement, she was a bookkeeper for Guimond Realty for many years and was a volunteer teachers aid at Nonquit Schools. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy. Mrs. Pelletier was a camp counselor at Girl Scouts Camp Hoffman for many years.

She was a member of the Tiverton School Committee, the South Tiverton Grange and sat on the Tiverton Committee to rebuild the South Tiverton Fire Station and she was a past member of the Tiverton Yacht Club and the Nonquit PTA. She also started and fully funded the original Tiverton’s Senior Citizens 80 and over birthday parties.

Survivors include two daughters: Alice E. Henry of Middletown, RI and Claire F. Pelletier of Swansea, MA.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, June 25, 2010 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:30 A.M. followed by a service at Holy Trinity Church, Tiverton at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton.
