Margaret Jane Ashworth, of Henderson, passed away Sept. 29, 2014, in Las Vegas. Born in Twin Falls, Idaho, in 1945, she was a graduate of Las Vegas High School and California State University San Bernardino, where she received her BA and MA in English composition.
Margy, as she was known to her family, was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. "Curly" Ashworth of Las Vegas; and her sister, Carol Ashworth Bianchi of Highland, Calif.
She is survived by her brother, J. Paul Ashworth of Henderson; niece, Marcy Bianchi; and nephews, Bryan Bianchi, Stuart Ashworth and Tyler Ashworth.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Palm Mortuary-Eastern, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123.
