He is survived by daughters, Sandra Dacey and Louise (Robert) Gifford; son, Wayne (Ramona) Capalby; sisters, Jean (James) Webb, Vera Wolf, Ida Gaston, Delores (Lawrence) Czaszwicz and Carmella "Connie" (George) Miller; grandchildren, Sean and Michael.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers Joseph, John, Caporale, Emery; and sister Nancy Bruno.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 11, 1995, 9:30 a.m. at Virgil Huber Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Hessville with Rev. Richard Orlinski, of St. Catherine of Siena Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana. Friends may call on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Virgil Huber Funeral Home, Hessville Chapel, 7051 Kennedy Ave. Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Mr. Capalby was a member of the YMCA Retirement Club; Inland Steel Retirement Club and he was a very active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church while residing in Hammond. He served in World War II in the European and African Campaigns with the 363rd Infantry.
