R.A. Duckworth, 73, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015,in San Angelo. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, June 1, 2015, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Gerald Clark officiating.

R.A. was born in Eden, Texas, to the late Jodie Leon and Faye Marie Locklear Duckworth. R.A. was a meat market manager for Lowes Grocery in San Angelo and retired in September, 2009. He was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church in Midland, Texas.

He was preceded in death by brothers: Ronnie, Kenneth, and Horace "Bunny" Duckworth.

Survivors include his brother, Billy Ray Duckworth; sisters, Wynojoe Ivie and Judy Sheppard; step-children, Ann Braxton and Tiffany Cantrell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
