He was born in Fallsville, AR to James Riley and Maggie Eveline Case. He was 71 when he passed away at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. He enjoyed music and played string instruments.

He was related to us through our Case family.Mr. Arguss (Pete) Case, age 71, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born in Fallsville, Arkansas, on February 24, 1934, he was the son of the late James Riley and Maggie Eveline Case. A former resident of Sherwood, Mr. Case was an iron worker and moved to Quitman in the fall of 1979. He enjoyed bluegrass music and was a member of the Bluegrass Association. Mr. Case was a member of South Cross Roads Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Case. He is survived by his wife, Mazelle Susan (Chastain) Case of Quitman; one son, Wesley Arguss Case of Grove, Oklahoma; one daughter, Brenda Sue Case Harris of White Hall; one brother, Rufus Case of Russellville; two sisters, Geraldine Rogers of Russellville, and Christine Gray of Lamar; and four grandchildren. Mr. Case is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 1, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, at 10:00 A.M. in the South Cross Roads Church with Rev. Kenneth Rolland officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 P.M. in the Price Cemetery at London, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be David Case, Gene Brady, Brent Brady, J. R. Barnett, Morris Brown, and Carl Stevens. Musician friends and special friends will serve as honorary pallbearers. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
