Lowry H. Bear, 86, 495 E. Third St., died at 5:30 p.m. yesterday at King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was a retired farmer, a native of Jefferson County, and a member of Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church. His wife, Mary, died in November 1971.
He is survived by a son, Louis, and a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Adams, both of Madison; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Lyda Bishop, Madison.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Gans Funeral Home, with burial in Springdale Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. tomorrow.
