The death of Mrs. Jessie Ensign Barnum brings deep sorrow to the hearts of many friends. She was the wife of Edwin H. Barnum, secretary of the George Ailing Sons' Company and the only child of Thomas W. Ensign. She died of typhoid fever after an illness of two weeks' duration. On Saturday her condition, seemed materially improved and the hopes of her friends revived, but the symptoms again grew worse and despair of her recovery took the place of hope. She died 10 a.m. on Sunday. She leaves a daughter who is ten years old. The funeral will be held at the residence, this afternoon at 2:30 and the burial will be private.
