MILLEDGEVILLE, Jan. 24 — Funeral services are to be held at 4 p.m. Friday for Mrs. Lawrence F. Benford, 46 years old Milledgeville resident, whose death occurred Thursday night.
The rites will take place in the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Rev. John W. Hughston officiating. Burial will be in West View Cemetery.
Mrs. Benford had been ill for several months. She is survived by her husband; a son, Lawrence, Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Nell Fann; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Polk; one grandchild, Sandra Anne Fann, all of Milledgeville; six brothers, James B. and Aubrey Polk of Milledgeville, Floyd and Roger Polk of Macon, Rufus Polk of Americus, and J.O. Polk of Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. Furney Woodall of Macon and Mrs. Eddie Hackett of Miami.
