Mr. Underhill was born October 5, 1922, in Elyria, the son of Harvey and Dorothy A. (Adams) Underhill. Harvey was an Army Veteran having served in the 42nd Rainbow Division. He was employed at US Steel 30 years, retiring in 1977 as General Turn Foreman. He was a member of the Faith Community United Church of Christ, formerly Pilgrim Collegiate, the Argus Lodge, the Yusef Khan Grotto, and the Scottish Rite. Mr. Underhill is survived by his wife, Helen (Weber) Underhill, whom he married December 31, 1949, and one son Ted (Loretta) Underhill of N. Jackson, a grand-daughter, Julie (Joe) Weaver of Canton, 3 grandsons, Adam and Zac Underhill and Justin Kirtos. A daughter Nancy Kirtos, and sister, Eleanor Young, preceded him in death.
