NEW HARTFORD - Joseph J. Albright, 93, a resident of Eden Park Nursing Home, formerly of 21 Janet Terrace. New Hartford, died Tuesday, February 19, 1985 at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. He was born in Utica the son of Nicholas and Helen Kammelohr Albright and was educated in the Utica School System. On April 28. 1920, he was married to the former Mary Barry. Mrs. Albright died in 1963.

Before his retirement, Mr. Albright was employed by the Lewis & Wellar Mfgr. Co., the Savage Arms Co., served as a custodian at the Blessed Sacrament Church and for several years was associated with his brother-in-law. James Barry in Barry's Liquor Store. He is a member of St. John The Evangelist Church, New Hartford and an honorary life member of William E. Burke Utica Council No. 189 Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Albright is survived by two daughters. Mrs. Donald (Marie) Adams of New Hartford and Mrs William (Lorine) Lennon of Utica; one son, J. Robert Albright of Syracuse; one sister, Miss Margaret Albright of Utica; two brothers, Charles Albright, Utica and Herman Albright, Whitesboro; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Thursday morning at 9:15 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St and 10 o'clock at St. John The Evangelist Church, New Hartford. Interment will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours at the Funeral Home are Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9. The K of C will meet at the Funeral Home Wednesday evening at 7:30 In lieu of flowers, please consider the American Heart Association.
