On Saturday, May 30, 2015, Dorothy Cole Shaw, of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away at the age of 84, surrounded by her family. She was born on February 8, 1931 in Mascot, Tennessee. She leaves behind her loving husband Raymond; daughters Cheryl Greenway and Teresa Casper; grandchildren Kelly and Rachel Casper, Scott Greenway (Ana Cecilia); great grandchildren, Scarlett, Rueben and Mia Greenway; her brother J. Mack Cole of Mascot, Tennessee; and many more friends and relatives. Dorothy worked for C&P Telephone Company from 1965 until her retirement and belonged to the C&P Pioneers. After retiring, she traveled extensively with her husband, Raymond. The viewing will be held at Demaine Funeral Home (formerly Everly's) at 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, Virginia 22030 on Thursday, June 4 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Demaine Funeral home on Friday, June 5 at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at the Fairfax City Cemetery.
