Hiram Fritzen, son of John and Talka Fritzen, was born on April 14, 1894, at Minonk, Illinois, and died December 2nd, 1936, at Wadsworth, Kansas.
He came when a small boy, with his father, brother, and sisters to Boone county, Nebraska, where he resided until he grew to young manhood. Later he enlisted in the service of his country, serving with the marines.
He leaves to mourn his passing three sisters, Mrs. Dena Abts and Mrs. Ella Kenfield of Brule, Nebraska; Mrs. Minnie Klofenstein of Morton, Illinois, and one brother George, of Albion, besides other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and one sister, Lillie.
The body was brought to Albion and funeral services were held from the Christian church Saturday afternoon, conducted by F. S. Spaulding. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.
