Sis' obituary from the Jacksonville "Florida Times-Union" of May 27th, 2015:

"STAFFORD: Edna "Sis" Stafford, 89, passed away at her home in Jacksonville Beach, Florida on May 19th, 2015. She had been a resident of the Beaches for more than 50 years.
Sis was born Edna Margaret Skinner, December 8th, 1925 at Wilmette, Illinois to Dr. and Mrs. Guy B. Skinner, both of whom proceeded her in death. She was a graduate of New Trier High School, (Winnetka, Ill.), Penn Hall Junior College (Chambersburg, PA.) and The American Academy of Art (Chicago, IL.)
On December 30th, 1947, Sis was united in marriage to Robert R. Stafford, Jr., of Glencoe, IL. They were married for almost fifty years before his death on July 4th, 1997. Sis was also proceeded in death by two brothers; Richard W. Skinner, of Wilmette, IL., and Dr. Frederick A. Skinner of Doraville, GA.
She is survived by three sons; Robert G. Stafford (wife Margaret), of Ranson, W.V.; Frederick H. Stafford (wife Karen), of Kent, WA.; Stephen G. Stafford (wife Dolores) of Asheville, N.C. She was also the proud grandmother of five grandchildren: Kathryn (Kent, WA.); Robert and Anna (Ranson, W.V.); William and James (Asheville, N.C.).
Sis was very active in volunteer work as well as being a member of the following organizations; GNF WC Jacksonville Beaches Women's Club; National Society Daughters of The American Revolution, Jean Ribault Chapter (Neptune Beach, FL.) and P.E.O., Chapter EV. (Jacksonville Beach, FL.). In lieu of services or floral offerings, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to P.E.O., Chapter EV., Jacksonville Beach, FL."
