Florence W. Ahlers, 100, of Carlisle, died Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Medical Center of Arlington, Arlington, TX. She was born on January 25, 1915 in Perry County to the late Raymond and Shirley Neidigh Worley. She was preceded in death by sisters, Miriam Brickner, Blanch Meredith, Renee Lippert and six brothers, Leroy, Norman, John, Raymond, William and Clyde Worley.

Florence lived her entire life in the Carlisle area and worked at several local businesses. She retired from G.S. Electric Motors as a quality control inspector after 25 years of service. She was also a former employee of Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Carlisle and its Women's Sunday School class; the Order of the Eastern Star, Lodge #375 of Carlisle, a 50 year member of AARP; and the Carlisle Golden Age Club.
