Fannie Elizabeth (Wenger) Eby was born October 28, 1898 at Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, and died April 6, 1981 at her home in Dallas Center, Iowa at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 9 days. She was united in marriage to Christian Henry Eby, January 6, 1921. She moved with her husband and seven children to Iowa in 1931 where she reisded until her death. Following the death of their son, Henry Eby, Jr., in 1932, two more children were born. She was baptized into membership of the Old Order River Brethren Church in 1932 and remained faithful to her Lord until death. She is survived by her husband, Henry, three sons, Harold of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Jacob and John of Dallas Center; five daughters, Mary Meyers of Adel, Ruth Meyers, Anna Keller, Dorothy Hawbaker and Ada Meyers, all of Dallas Center; 4 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. Fannie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother with loving concern for each member of her family.
