Margurette Mae McDaniel Hart, 80, of Andrews passed away Thursday (Oct. 7, 2004) in a Murphy hospital.

Born January 14, 1924 in Montpelier, OH, Margurette moved to Angola, IN in 1957 and then to Andrews in December of 1999.

She was the daughter of the late Samuel Edwin and Inez Adilla Harmon McDaniel and the wife of the late William Junior Hart, who died April 12, 1999 at the age of 80. Margurette married William on December 24, 1941 and she graduated from Montpelier High School in 1942.

Margurette was a cosmetologist, graduating from the Ravenscroft School of Cosmetology in Fort Wayne, IN in 1974.

She was a member of the Pokagon Chapter of DAR, being a past Regent. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge, the Steuben County, IN Business Women's Association, and the Congregational Church of Christ of Angola.

She was preceded in death by a three-day old daughter, Trudy Hart in November 1946; two sisters, Pauline Ickes and Ruby Harris; and three brothers, Raymond McDaniel, Robert McDaniel, and Samuel McDaniel, who died at age 13.

Surviving are a daughter, three sons, a sister, six grandchildren,and two great grandchildren.
