Born Jan. 25, 1920, in Roosevelt, Utah, he moved to Idaho as a young man. He married Margaret LeGault Jan 26, 1941, in Twin Falls. They lived in Salt Lake City for a short time before moving to Hazelton in 1943, where they had lived since.
Mr. Perkins served in the Navy during World War II.
Surviving are: his wife of Hazelton; four sons, Sam Perkins of Heyburn, Jim Perkins of Glennallen, Alaska, Dale Perkins of Eden and Rob Perkins of Hazelton; two daughters, Janette Kandler of Boise and Shon Perkins of Hazelton; 13 grandchildren; a brother, David Perkins of Hazelton; and two sisters, Donna Nichols and Ruby Andrews, both of Hazelton. He was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, a brother and a sister.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Hazelton LDS Church. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls.
Friends may call at the White Mortuary in Twin Falls today and Monday from 3 to 8 p.m.
