Professional Baseball Player. He played 11 seasons in the major leagues as a pitcher for the Boston Braves, Brooklyn Dodgers and Pittsburgh Pirates. Brandt made his major league debut on April 26, 1928. He appeared in 378 games during his professional career, winning 121 games and losing 146. Following his retirement he was inducted into the Washington State Sports Hall of Fame.
