She was born June 20, 1883, in Vale, Oregon, and moved to the Biggs area in 1922. She had resided on Perry Avenue and had retired from farming. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1935.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Reed of Biggs and Gladys Bair of Live Oak; two sons, Donald of Loma Rica and Robert of Oakland; a sister, Mrs. Grace Suez of Petaluma; 15 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great grandchildren.
The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at Blcok Funeral Home by Fr. P.V. Lenehan, who will offer a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Thursday. The casketbearers will be Bob Thomas, Jim Allen, Frank Mattos, Gabe Perry, Johnny Martin and Charles Sohnrey.
Interment will be in the Gridley-Biggs Cemetery.
Visitation is welcome at the funeral chapel from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. today.
