East Greenbush Raymond J. Berg, Jr., age 85, passed away suddenly at his residence in East Greenbush on June 8, 2015. Born and raised in Albany, NY, he retired from the NYS Department of Correctional Services after 32 years. He was an active member of First Church in Albany for many years.
Ray was the Beloved Husband of the late Eva M. Berg, father of Raymond and Lucy, Keith and Norma and Kendred Berg and Emilienne Villeneuve. Grandfather to Sharon Kuykendoll (Kevin), Raymond J. IV, Keith Jr., Kaylyn Berg and the late Peggy Memmen. Great Grandfather to Victoria and Hayleigh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service Saturday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 12 Launfal St., Albany, NY, with Pastor Joe Roof presiding. Interment will be at Bethlehem Cemetery, Delmar, NY at a date and time convenient to the family.
