OAK HILL - Nancy M. Zink, 74, of Oak Hill, died Saturday, May 3, 2002 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley following a short illness. Born November 17, 1927 at Concho, she was the daughter of the late John and Pearl Stevens. Mrs Zink was a former businesswoman and owner of Bunker Hill Grocery and J&N Market. She was also a member of the Thursday and Friday Bowling Leagues at White Oak Lanes in Oak Hill. Preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick Hitchcock; her second husband, John M. Zink, Sr.; a step-son Robert Zink; a grandson, Craig Zink; and a brother, Thomas Stevens. Survivors include two sons, Stephen Hitchcock and wife Annette of Mooresville, NC and Michael Hitchcock of Oak Hill; a daughter, Jeane Ann Goins and husband Danny of Ashland, KY.; a step-son, John Zink, JR. of Oak Hill; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one sister, Doris Jeane Botsford of Washington, DC; two brothers, George Stevens of Phoenix, AZ and C. R. Stevens of Nashville, Tenn. Services will be 2 P.M. Tuesday at the Jones Avenue Church of God with Pastors Ralph and Tonya Shupe officiating. Burial will follow in the High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at the High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements by High Lawn Funeral Home Oak Hill.
