Clara Marie (Cooper) Welch
Clara Was born Oct. 5 1938, and passed away peacefully Oct. 6, 2013.
She was raised in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and at the age 25 married Albert Lee Welch (USAF). They retired from the military in 1981 and settled down in Tacoma, WA.
Clara volunteered with the Girl Scouts, and worked at Carters Children's Clothing and Gottschalks. She was a long time member of the Church or the Nazaree.
She is survived by her husband oh 48 years, Albert, her sister Nola Cooper, her two daughters and four grandchildren.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Zelma Cooper, and brothers, Gordon and Raymond Cooper.
Viewing will be from 11:00 pm on Mon., Oct. 21, 2013; funeral services will be held on Tues. Oct. 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at New Tacoma Cemetery'c Chambers Creek Chapel, University, WA.
