Claude O. Paschall
Services for Claude O. Paschall, 92, of 1707 W. Walnut St., who died of natural causes Friday at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Ballard Chapel. The Rev. Bervin O. Caswell, pastor of First United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Following services, Mr. Paschall's body will be taken to Chatsworth, Calif., for interment in Oakwood Memorial Park.
Paschall was born Jan. 8, 1887, in Parker County, Texas, and had lived in Roswell 40 years where he was a retired oil refinery worker. Paschall is a former captain of the Breckenridge, Texas, Police Department and last worked for Malco Oil. He was a 70-year member of the Masonic Temple and a member of the Methodist faith. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.A. (Molly Dill) Paschall preceded him in death.
Paschall was married to Esma Tinsley on Feb. 5, 1911, in Paradise, Texas. She survives him. Other survivors include two brothers, E.R. Paschall of Bridgeport, Texas, and A.L. Paschall of Paradise; one sister, Exia Boase of Bridgeport; and two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
