Ada LaRue (Taylor) Griner, 87, formerly of Roganville, Tx. passed away, Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Cypress Glen Nursing Home in Port Arthur, Tx. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Lorena Beatrice (Harris) Taylor and her husband, Earl Hubert Griner. Her burial was at Kirbyville Cemetery. Officiating will be Reverend Roy Phillips. Mrs. Griner is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Jerry Guarnere of Nacogdoches and her son and daughter-in-law, Gordon E. and Elaine Griner of Bridge City. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Vivian Bradberry, Pamela Guarnere, Michael Guarnere, Dana Leger and Gayle Soileau. Six great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Griner was born in Melrose, Tx. on April 22, 1919. She worked at Reif's Cleaners in Port Arthur for 20 years before retiring in 1981. Her pallbearers will be, Michael Guarnere, Cory Guarnere, Benny Soileau, David Leger, Cody Tillis, Chase Leger and Lackey Bradberry.
