She was born June 4th, 1925 to Dan & Dena (Spexet) Paulson in the Town of Prairie Lake, rural Chetek, WI. She was baptized at home & confirmed at Chetek Lutheran Church. On February 9th, 1945, she was married to Arthur Briggs at Dallas. The couple lived in the Dallas area until moving to Spooner in 1971.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Arthur on December 31st, 1999, son: Dennis, grandson: Darren, granddaughter: Wendy, brothers: John & Orval & sisters: Alice & Evelyn. She is survived by her sons: David (Marilyn) Briggs of Dallas & Douglas (Jean) Briggs of Chetek, grandchildren: Becky Jo (Kord) Fowler of Chetek & Bill (Shari) Briggs of Ridgeland, great grandchildren: Kristen & Jonathon Fowler, Ella, Sven & Nora Briggs, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & precious friends.
Funeral services will be (were) held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9th at Dallas Lutheran Church with Pastor Heather Kistner officiating & interment in Dallas Cemetery. Visitation will be (was) held for the hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
