"George Frandsen lost his life while falling trees in the S.C. Rick Logging Camp. A tree falling on him, mashing him two feet in the ground. He leaves a wife and four children to mourn his loss." [Wendy Safford note, George's 5th child, Henry, was born Nov. 1895].
