Catharine E. Borah, aged widow of James Nathan Borah who was killed in the Civil War, died at her sister, Mrs. Mellie Feiger.
Catherine was born in Cumberland County, PA December 25, 1829 and died in Fairfield October 11, 1917.
She was the first born of nine children born to John and Jane Darr.
She is survived by only two, Thomas and Mellie Feiger.
While in her teens they moved to Wayne county.
She married James N. Borah August 22, 1844.
