Mrs. Davis died Friday, June 5, 2015 in a Henderson nursing home.
She was born May 20, 1931 in Quachita Parrish, Louisiana to the late James (Jack) and Mattie Hendrix Tolbird.
She moved to Overton in 1955 from Quachita Parrish, Louisiana and was a care giver.
She has been a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church since 1955.
She was a loving mother and a awesome grandma.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Davis was also preceded in death by her husband, Birchell Calvin Davis on Nov. 25, 1991.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Pena, Arp; two grandsons, Alex Beck, Overton, and Zane Beck, New London; 2 great grandsons, Cole Spain and Parker Mizell, a great granddaughter, Hanna Mizell; a ex-son-in-law, Don Pena and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Wednesday, June 10.
