Mrs. Lee H. Gastinger nee Ida Jane Fritz, of San Antonio, TX, formerly of Fredericksburg, TX, passed away in the Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio on Saturday, September 29, 2001 at 10:26 a.m. at the age of 74 years. Member of the Altar Society of Blessed Sacrament Church, San Antonio; Past President and Honorary Member of Beethoven Damenchor of San Antonio. Mrs. Gastinger is survived by the following; husband, Lee Gastinger of San Antonio; three daughters and spouses, Sandra and James Disbrow of San Antonio, Lois and Barry Schmick of San Marcos, TX, Ann and John Kissling of San Antonio; grandchildren, Jason and Sharon Desbrow, Luke Schmick, David Kissling; one sister, two brothers and spouses, Elizabeth and Norwin Crenwelge of Waco, Leo and Ruth Fritz of Los Angeles, CA, Kasper and Gloria Fritz of Boerne, TX; sisters-in-law, Gertrude, Mrs. Richard Fritz and Norma, Mrs. Wilfred Fritz, both of Fredericksburg. The body will lie in state in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 600 Oblate Drive, San Antonio, TX on Monday, October 1, 2001 from 6:00-7:00 P.M. with Mass of Resurrection being celebrated at 7:00 P.M. Visitation in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, TX will be held on Tuesday from 8:00 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. A Rosary Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 2, 2001 in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, TX with Deacon Louis Loth officiating. Entombment will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum in Fredericksburg, TX. Those wo so desire may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in San Antonio, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg, TX.
