HAWKS, Ella Mae, 79, of Morrison, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at NHC Health Care Center in Mc-Minnville. A native of Morrison, she was the daughter of the late Dawlton Reese Lawrence and Nanny Mable Duke Lawrence. She was a retired factory worker and was a member of the Ivy Bluff United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Hawks, and by two brothers, Robert Eugene “Gene” Lawrence and Charles Lawrence.
She is survived by one son, Michael Hawks, Roseville, Mich.; a daughter, Connie Jean (Ladd) Lubaczewski, Washington, Mich.; a sister, Dorothy “Dot” McAlexander, Tullahoma; two grandchilddren, Stephanie (Beau) Scyzh and Timothy Hawks, and three greatgrandchildren, Hayli, Kayci, and Angelina.
Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, May 27, at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Danny Freeman officiating.
