Died at his residence on Old School House Road, Ardmore, Alabama. Funeral services at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Ray Stonecypher and Rev. William Suddarth officiating. Pallbearers Johnny Bailey, Jr., Barry Bailey, Travis Bucher, Brett Bucher, Mack Malone, Colby Malone, Alex Hughes, and Ryan Morgan. Member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. World War II veteran and member of the American Legion. Survived by wife, Bernice, 2 living sons and 2 living daughters; two brothers, A. D. Bailey and 1 living; two sisters, Vera Smith and 1 living; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
