Jane was the daughter of the second Baron FitzWilliam, her mother was an heiress, the daughter of Hugh Perry alias Hunter, a sheriff and alderman of London.

Jane FitzWilliam and Sir Christopher Wren were married 24 Feb 1676/7 [OS] at Chapel Royal, Whitehall, London, England.
TWO children were born to this union, Jane Wren in 1677 and William Wren in 1679.

Jane is reported to have died of tuberculosis, although very possible, no primary sources have yet been found to confirm this.
