Mary E. Nichols, 77, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, June 7, 2015. She was greeted by her husband, Raleigh who preceded her in death. Mary was born July 22, 1937 in Pelham, GA to the late Thomas and Elizabeth Glover. She retired from Sears after forty five years of service. Her life reflected dedication and devotion to her Lord Jesus, family and friends. She will be truly missed by all.
Mary was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Harling (Charles), Janith Canter (Richard); brothers, Thomas Buck Glover, Hubert Glover; sisters, Geraldine DeBerry, Rena Mae Pollock; grandchildren, Joshua Harling, Steffanie Harling, Jennifer Wallace, Justin Canter; great grandchildren, Caelan, Colt, Drake; numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at 11am at North Jacksonville Baptist Church, where Mary was a member, 8531 North Main Street 32218, with Rev. Chris Coram officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8pm at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd 32218, 714-1110. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Mary's name.
