Paul was born March 18, 1937 to Clifton Franklin and Norma Edith (Pedersen) King in Provo, Utah.
He married his eternal sweetheart, the love of his life, Phyllis Jane Hancock in the Salt Lake Temple on September 11, 1959. They had a beautiful, blessed 54 years together. Family was everything to him and he had an incredible ability to make each of his 8 children, 36 grandchildren, and now 12 great-grandchildren feel like they were his very favorite.
Paul was such a joy to be around with his wonderful sense of humor and heartwarming laugh which he shared until the end. Second to his love for his family, was his love for his horses. If he wasn't out supporting his children and grandchildren at various sporting events and activities, he could be found out in the pasture, in the barn, or at the race track.
He accomplished many great things in his life, but taught us even more. He has taught us the importance of work and play, to value God and family above all else, and to always have candy in church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gerald Carl King, and is survived by his sisters, and his brother, his beautiful wife, and their 8 children, 36 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Until we meet again, Grandpa. Keep your nose clean and we'll see you in the funnies!
