This is my Grandfather. My Dad's Father. He was a really wonderful Grandpa. He owned a huge farm, and a big house with a big porch. We loved going there as children to visit him, sleeping in big feather beds and exploring the farm, picking berries and getting to feed the animals. We loved sitting on the porch while Grandpa told us many exciting stories of days gone by. He was quite a talker with a quick wit that my Dad inherited. Everyone knew and respected him. He had the greenest thumb of anyone I ever knew, and always brought in a beautiful garden, and cooked as well as any woman. I still miss the huge fluffy biscuits he used to make us for breakfast. We loved him dearly and miss him lots.
