Mr. Richie is survived by his step brothers, David Townsend(Tracie) of Tuscaloosa, AL and John Townsend(Becky) of Duncanville, AL; step daughter, Gina Bradley(Ron) of Cottondale, AL; brothers, Lynn Richie(Sandy) of Centreville, AL; sisters, Frances Moore(Thomas) and Sarah Hubbard of Duncanville, AL; niece, Janice Lynn Young of Centreville, AL; grandchildren, Hunter, Sami and Taylor Richie; three step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Richie; mother, Pastoria Richie; father, Aubrey Richie; brothers, James and Joe Richie; granddaughter, Jade-Ann Hall.

CENTREVILLE Rufus L. Richie, age 71, of Centreville (Eoline) died May 4, 2011, at VA Medical in Tuscaloosa. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Haysop Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Haysop Cemetery with Rockco Funeral Home of Centreville directing. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
