Agnes Nellie-1/1856) and Martha 1852 (husband ? AlexanderLowry-9/1857) in birth order- Belfast records indicated as such.

The vicinity that the family Lowry was noted on landmarks of Quarry Road and Lisbane Road. This is where a headstone of his parent is noted in Lisbane His paternal grandparents were Alexander Lowry and Martha Johnson (his paternal aunts and uncles 13 known all lived in the Lisbane area for years. There were many of the Lowry families/relatives settled there in Lisbane/County Down/Tyrone-Northern Ireland for generations. His wife Anna Marie was listed in family records being born in County Tyrone in 1843. As per R. Wilson No records on marriage but also County Tyrone and Lisbane being too distant for couples to meet in those early 1860s.

He immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1860s-marrying there in Alleghany, PA. He does have Anna Maria, Martha 18yr old, and Martha listed on the census.

The family grew to a large family of Martha, Mary Jane, Grace, Ella, Blaine, Jas. Everett, JesseBelle Lowry.

He farmed and was noted working as a shoemaker (1880-90) in Janesville from 1890-1905. The records showed he resided in Evansville, WI in his last days.

Great gr. granddaughter Colleen Lowry researched while visiting in PA. with records not kept well in Alleghany before 1870 /limiting info per county courthouse clerk of their residence. They moved to Rock County sometime between 1872/1873. From their County down roots Robert S. Lowry and Adam were distant cousins/with Adam coming to live where Robert S. family lived-a map of Laprairie township shows multiple lots with the Lowry name noted on adjoining lots.

The next 5 children were born in the LaPrairie Township.

He had a few years of time together with Grace, Ella, Blaine, Jas, Everett, and JesseBelle. He worked the farm of which may have been cousin Robert Lowry as the farm acreage shows their land was adjoined. In 1880 the teacher of the children was Jessie Deforest(23y.o.) with five of the eleven neighbors (Leahy, Hauser, Bolfe, Atwood, Church) in District 1/Town of Janesville working for the local railroad. He was listed as a shoemaker during these years with his sons helping him.

Later census(1900) Adam was listed as a farmer with fellow neighbors Grant, Keaward, Lawrence, Deforest, Hume, and Laboshire.

In 1905 the family of Anna, Ella, Jas and Jesse were at home still with Adam listed as his livelihood of a shoemaker along with son AW/Jas as his assist along with daughter Ella listed as a stenographer and son "Jas" listed as a laborer(on farm).

1910 census had him living without any of his family members in a "homegroup" setting in Evansville, Wisconsin prior to his passing.

Adam was laid to rest next to his wife and son Blaine at the gravesite next to them a year later in 1911. Family/relative Mattie, Everett and Eliza (HenryLowry), Floyd, and (Blaine)Jas are also buried near the parent's site-these were cousins as Adam and Robert had been born/raised on the nearby farms in Lisbane-Quarry Road/ County Down back in Ireland-as well as Lowrys on McCreery Road.
