Anna Marie Crothers was born in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Birth records indicated several dates of 1847/1855. A census also indicated she was born in Pennsylvania rather than County Tyrone-investigating ongoing. However, census indication that she immigrated to America with her destination being Pennsylvania where she married Adam W. Lowry in 1869 in Alleghany City, Pennsylvania with their first two children born in 1869 and 1870 in Pittsburgh area.
The family relocated to Rock County(Town of Janesville) with the next five children born. In the 1880 the neighbor farm families that were each other supports-Grant, Leaward, Lawrence, Deforest Hume, Laborshire families.
The family lived in LaPrairie Township -1905 -their neighbors were all working for Northwestern RR-Leahy, Hauser, Bolfe, Atwood, Church- and 4 of the seven children were living home at 1910, which was Anna's year of death.
Her husband Adam passed shortly after her passing. Son in law Robert Lowry passed within that year where husband Adam and Robert(passed in Nov1904 of appendicitis) had farmed near one another in LaPrairie Township.
Surviving family were Mattie(Martha) who lived in Illinois, Mary Jane(Robert Lowry) of Janesville, Grace(Francis Coulter-Henry Bebermeyer) of North Dakota, Ella(Roy Dennie), and Blaine, JesseBelle aka Buell (Allen) of Beloit later -all of Janesville.
Preceding her in death were family- Emma Lowry(Raught) and sons Jas and Everett who lie near each other near their mother's grave.
