Annie Kathryn Moss Baird, 91, formerly of Greenwood, MS died at her home in Laurel, MS on Saturday, June 13, 2015.

Visitation will be at Magnolia Baptist Church in Laurel, MS on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 9 AM and the funeral will follow at 10 AM with the Rev. P. J. Weeks officiating. Burial will follow at 3 PM in her hometown of Greenwood, MS at Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Billy Ray Stonestreet of St. John's United Methodist Church officiating.

Ann was a lifelong resident of Greenwood, MS having been born and raised in her early years in Schlater, MS. While in Greenwood, she was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and upon moving to Laurel in recent years she attended Magnolia Baptist Church. Ann, while working alongside her late husband of more than 50 years in their real estate business, was a home maker and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Ann had a knack for spreading the love of friendship everywhere she went and leaves a host of loving friends behind.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William "Billy" Baird, her parents, James Wade Moss and Annie Ethridge Moss and a stepson, J.W. Baird, Jr. She is survived by her brother, James Ethridge Moss of Jackson, MS, two sons, James Moss "Jim" Baird of McKinney, TX, Dr. Robert Wade "Bob" Baird of Dallas, TX, three daughters, Jan Baird Harlow (Gene) of Laurel, MS, Kathy Baird Atha (Perry) of Prairie Village, KS and Susan Baird-Boaz (Forrest) of Richardson, TX, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Neil Atha, Tyler Atha, Chand Harlow and Will Atha, a grandson in law, Jason Johnson and a dear friend, Jim Cockrell.
