Clark Alexander, 53, of the Hollis Creek community, died Friday night at his home after a long illness.
Funeral services were Sunday at the Sunny Slope Church of Christ with Charles A. Taylor officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Alexander was a native of Cannon County, son of the late Dan and Rosinda Simpson Alexander. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his widow Mrs. Mary Gaither Alexander, a son, Clark Wayne Alexander of Indiana; four brothers, Hooper, Enloe, Henry and Benton Alexander all of Cannon County; two sisters, Mrs. Kelly Hoover, Cannon County and Mrs. Bertha Gaither, Ypsilanti, Mich. and one grandchild.
