Virginia Mae Shane, 81, of Tyler, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015, in Tyler.

She was born March 28, 1934, in Hardin to John Walter and Myrtle Mae Hanlon.

Virginia was a professional dog groomer and breeder of champion Lhasa Apso.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years, John Shane Sr.; three sisters; and one brother.

She is survived by her loving family including four children, Corliss Allen, of Hazelhurst, Mississippi, Janie Carlson, of Whitehouse, Johnny Shane Jr., of Tyler, and Denise McDaniel, of Nacogdoches; sister, Betty Murray, of Whitehouse; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
