Orvel F. Cousino, 81 of LaSalle, MI, died Thursday, June 18, 2015 in Ebeid Hospice Residence. Born February 8, 1934 in Monroe, Michigan, he was the son of Preston and Mildred (Masserant) Cousino. A 1952 graduate from Catholic Central High School in Monroe, MI, he then served in the US Army. He married Donna R. Knaggs on April 7, 1967, She preceded him in death on January 16, 2000. Orvel was a farmer for 30 years and then a self employed custodian for 33 years. He was an active member of Abundant Life Ministry in Temperance, MI, where he was a faithful servant of Christ.

Orvel is survived by his loving children; Chris Cousino, Melissa Adkins and Mandy Cousino; brothers, Elwood and Lowell (Liz) Cousino; sisters; Shirley Martin and Prudence Cousino; grandson, Preston and fiancé, Margaret Kwiatkowski. He was also preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Simmie “Joe” Adkins.

Visitation will be from 3-9 pm Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at LaSalle Cemetery.
