Son of Valentine Peers (1756-1830) and Eleanor (Orr) Peers (1772-1817). Married June 14, 1827 to Julia Hester (Clark). From this union was born at least Cornelia Clark Peers, Mary Eleanor Peers, Henry Clay Peers and Julia Maria Peers. Judge of the recorders offices in St Louis in 1861.
