Early Life: Leone was born on February 24, 1932, in Los Angeles, California, to LeRoie Woolley Sr. and Emma Dunne Woolley. She was the youngest of five children and grew up in Riverside, California.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: She attended Riverside Jr. College and Utah State University before graduating from Brigham Young University. She loved horses when she was young and shared many stories of Star and Cheyenne with her kids and grandkids. Her father bought an orange grove and she had to pick two boxes of oranges before she could ride her horse. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life and loved to serve. Although she served in many callings, she never stopped serving the youth. She was a Cub Scout and Scout leader for over 35 years and was awarded the Silver Beaver award for her service. She also loved being a camp director and athletic director for the young women. She led 4­H groups studying entomology, cooking and archery for many years. Leone was a unique talented treasure. She was a noted artist, painting landscapes, as well as other Western themes. She particularly loved Star Valley, Wyoming. She played the piano and accordion. She built a rustic art studio, log cabins, and a fort for the grandkids in Thayne, Wyoming. Ethel Leone Woolley Fletcher, 83, passed away quietly on June 16, 2015.
Survived By: Her children: Jeanne Pack (Michigan), Tom Fletcher (Oregon), David Fletcher (American Fork), Sam Fletcher (Orem); 35 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and her sister, Lucille Goss.
Preceded In Death By: Her son, Andrew; her parents; her three older brothers: Le, Bill and Don.
