Obituary

Daryle Lee Waddle, 64, died 06-18-2015.

The above obituary was posted in the Modesto Bee on June 20,2015.

The Jewish saying is that you die twice. You die once, when you do die, but the second time you die is when your name isn't spoken anymore.
------------------------------------------------------------

Daryle Lee Waddle was the third born to Archie Roscoe and Dorothy Mae Waddle. He grew up with two brothers and one sister. Daryle passed from complications of a sudden Heart Attack.

He loved Baseball as a young man and was a gifted pitcher one in which he was ambidextrous and had a fast pitch that was phenomenal. He could switch his arm pitch at any moment and by being able to do that he frustrated the batter. He was offered a lucrative contract to play in the big leagues but he turned that down.

Daryle was taught auto mechanics by his father and his two older brothers. The first vehicle that he owned was a coveted Black 1957 Chevy complete with his custom engine completed with headers. He would love to uncork the headers and rev the engine. He would grin and get in the car and race down the road for all to hear. The neighbors hated it and so did our mom.

Daryle's first love was Racing. NASCAR & Drag Racing to be exact. He loved building custom Racing Engines one in which he excelled at all his life. He could diagnose any engine problem and was sought out by many for his advise. He loved to collect and restore numerous vehicles but his vehicle of choice was 1967,68 & 69 Chevy Camaro's.

Daryle was known as"True Blue" in our family for he shared his opinion whether you wanted to hear it or not. He believed that honesty was his best policy. Being that way could produce some interesting arguments but in his perspective his opinion is all that mattered. He was known as being cantankerous but in his own way he lived his life as he saw fit. It was an understanding that we as a family accepted.
Daryle was my brother one in whom I respected. I will miss having all those heated discussions that would all work out in the end. I always said that he and our father was torn from the same cloth. Daryle and Dad looked so much alike and their similar mannerism's were amazing.

Daryle and His significant other were together for 30 years and had no children together.

I love you brother and I Thank God that he shared you with us. Rest in Peace Daryle for you will be sorely missed.
