William Headley, of Bristoria, a well known and highly respected citizen, died at the Waymesburg hospital, Friday evening, February 11, aged 40 years, of complications following an operation for appendicitis. Two weeks ago Mr. Headley was taken ill and underwent an operation at his home which apparently was successful. Later peritonitis developed and he was brought to the hospital on Friday, but his condition was so serious that he only lived a few hours. Mr Headley was a son of Newton Headley, of Richhill township. He was a member of the Brethren church and the Knights of Pythias lodge. Beside his wife and father he is survived by ten children.
