Ira M. Neel
Ira M. Neel, 432 S. Keystone Ave., will be buried in New
Crown Cemetery Thursday following services at 2 P.M. in the
J.C. Wilson Chapel of the Chimes, 1234 Prospect St.
Mr. Neel, who was 60 died yesterday in St. Francis Hospital
after a week's illness. A native of Tennessee, he had lived
here more than 20 years and worked at the Beech Grove shops
of the New York Central railroad for 23 years.
Survivors are his wife, Grace, two daughters, Mrs. Hazel
Dobbs, and Mrs. Katherine Perdue, a son, Herbert Neel, his
father, James S Neel, and a brother, Garland, all of
Indianapolis, and five grandchildren.
