F. Arthur Munger, 80, 227 Smith Ave., died at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, 1963, in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born July 23, 1883, in DeKalb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Munger. Lived 50 years in Rockford, coming here from Chicago. Married the former Della Petit in Chicago June 3, 1913. Employed as a printer all of his life, as a partner in Ideal Printing Co. for 30 years until 1953 and then a salesman for the Landmark Printing Co. Past master and member of the Belvidere Masonic Lodge, past high priest of Belvidere chapter, Royal Arch Masons. Member of Crusader Commandery of Rockford and Tebala Shrine Temple, and was an Ritualistic Divan of Tebala Temple.
Survivors include: widow, Bella; one brother, Lee Munger of DeKalb, and one sister, Mrs. Florence Taff, Joliet.
Services at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 1963, in Long-Klontz Funeral Home. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
