Adams---Died, at 7 p. m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 1909, at the residence of his daughter Mrs. J. S. Skipton, of 1408 South Walnut street, after an illness of five days of lung fever. J. W. Adams aged 89 years 6 months and 5 days.
The funeral arrangments have not been made and will announced later. The interment will be in Old Salem cemetery nine mile west of this city.
Mr. Adams was the father of twelve children, ten of whom survived him. They are Mrs. J. L. Skipton, 1408 South Walnut street; Mrs. John F.Williams, 1501 south State street; Mrs. Moses Page of Rochester; Mrs. Martha Stevens Riddle Hill; John F. of Eldorado; Mrs Louis T. Townsend, Mont.; Isaac Quincy; Henry Farmingdale; and William and Benjamin of the city. Also number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Adams was a member of Stevenson post no. 3 G. A. R.
