Linda was born July 12, 1936 in Uvalde, Texas to Angelo and Elvira (Morales) Garcia. She loved to garden and spend time with family and friends. She also loved the color red.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Rolando; children Sandra (Oscar) Armendariz, Viola (Ramiro) Garza, Linda Acevedo (Tim Morris), Rolando (Carmen) Acevedo, Danny (Sheri) Acevedo, Phillip (Michelle) Garcia, and Steve Garcia; 25 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by siblings Ben Garcia, Santos Garcia, John Garcia, Gilbert Garcia, Angie DeLeon, Sofia Bentley and Mary Juarez.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Chona Palomarez.
A memorial service will be held at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Warden followed by Holy Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
